- About
Set within the rolling topography of Central Texas, the Violet Crown master plan is conceived as a cultural landscape rather than a singular object. Buildings, paths, and open spaces are woven into the terrain to preserve the natural character of the site while accommodating a dense and diverse program. At its heart, a 17,000-person amphitheater anchors the development, shaped by the land itself and oriented to create an immersive relationship between performance, audience, and landscape.
The project balances intensity with openness. Surrounding the amphitheater, a network of pedestrian paths connects residential towers, hospitality, office space, dining, and recreational amenities. Building forms step with the contours of the site, minimizing visual impact while opening long views across the hills and tree canopy. Planted roofs, shaded terraces, and outdoor rooms blur the boundary between architecture and landscape, allowing the development to function as both destination and park.
