- About
Skylight Cinema redefines the movie-going experience through a synthesis of architecture, technology, and social space. The 15,000-square-foot complex integrates a state-of-the-art digital theater, a full-service kitchen, and flexible gathering areas that can transform into a sports bar and event venue. The design prioritizes the pedestrian experience, creating an active dialogue between the building and its surroundings.
Two glazed façades open the theater to the street, allowing light and movement from the interior to animate the public realm. Cast-in-place concrete fins frame these transparent edges, filtering views into the lobby while lending rhythm and depth to the exterior. The main theater volume, clad in pre-oxidized copper panels, contrasts the luminous glass with a sculptural solidity that anchors the corner site.
Inside, the material palette continues the interplay of refinement and durability. Polished concrete, warm metal finishes, and carefully detailed millwork create an environment that feels both cinematic and tactile. Through its attention to craft and atmosphere, Skylight Cinema extends the experience of film beyond the screen, turning a night at the movies into an encounter with space, light, and community.
