  • About
  • The Peninsula Residence is situated on a north–south axis along Lake Austin, opening the home to long views of the water and surrounding trees. The design reveals itself gradually, guiding the experience of arrival until the full expanse of the lake unfolds. Broad overhangs and an integrated shading system reduce heat gain while maintaining clear sightlines, allowing the house to feel both open and protected.

Glass, steel, and precision detailing bring clarity and depth to the architecture. Light becomes the central material, animating spaces with reflection and shadow. The renovation transforms the existing structure through the interplay of transparency and opacity, allowing daylight to penetrate deep into the interior while maintaining privacy and balance.

A solarium, green roof, and pool extend the living spaces outdoors, strengthening the home’s connection to its setting. Refined rooflines, slender supports, and screens of wood and glass dissolve the building’s edge, allowing the house to merge gently with its horizon.
